Drone Footage Of The Actual Dam From Goldeneye

We got all excited here at Game On Australia HQ, when we saw that some legend got a drone out and took drone footage of THAT dam from THAT game and therefore THAT movie, Goldeneye. Only problem is, their choice of music? And what’s with all the footage of running streams and the like? So, we did a re-edit and placed it over that gaming music, arguably the best of all time. No more streams and fluff, just that bloody dam and the awesomeness of that music. Here’s our version.   If you want to see the original, here...

There’s One Slight Problem With This Awesomely Retro Commodore 64 Ad

I know we’ve been on the Commodore 64 bandwagon of late, and doing all this flashing back led us to this cracker of a TV commercial from back in the day. What a ripper. There’s just one little issue though. Did you spot it? If not, here’s the offending image. We’ve greyed out the offensive bit as we reckon that’s all it deserves. But other than that little issue of aligning with R. Harris, what a beauty of an ad. AND, it shows that bloody tape deck. Pete never quite believed me when I originally told him that you...

The Commodore 64 Was The Champion Of Obscure Sports

All this talk about the retro Commodore 64 mini we’ve been planning got me thinking about the many hours I wasted on that beautiful machine. When I say wasted, of course I don’t actually mean it… just a figure of speech, obviously. I had a think about all the games mentioned when we asked our Facebook friends for suggestions, and a thought hit me like a bolt of lightning. The Commodore 64 was a champion for obscure sports. I’ve come up with 5 games you would have never thought would be made, based on the nature of the sport....
