Every week Epic Games release a free game that is actually, most of the time, good. This week includes two free games. Both of which have been reviewed by GOA and you should check them out.
The first is Hyper Light Drifter made by an Indi developer. A great game with hints of the old school, pixel art hack and slash with new game design and a different take on pixel art and the story.
“While HLD employs a pixelated aesthetic, the colour palette is a lush, contemporary one, a far cry from the limited palettes of the systems like the NES and Master System. A respectful tear is shed in remembrance. “

The second is Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. It has tactical turn-based combat and Chris the reviewer loved it.
“You start the story playing as Dux and Bormin, a mutant duck and warthog respectively. I love the banter between these two characters as they carry out a scouting mission to find scrap to fix the Ark’s water pumps. “
