The Esports Summit in 2019 featured guests who shared how their passion for esports and gaming lead to a career in those industries. The team behind the event this year hope to achieve the same success. The face to face event is going ahead at Braggs Lecture Theatre, on The University of Adelaide campus. The event will also be live-streamed.
Hosted by Dustin Wilson (Popcultured Comms), the event features Nigel Smart (COO of Adelaide Football Club and Legacy Esports), Misha Sukhinin (AVCon), Alisheria, and Catroulette. All speakers for the event currently work across gaming, streaming, and esports. They will share their insights on how to build your career in these exciting fields. In 2019 esports revenues globally were over $1.1 billion, with 27% growth on the previous year. There are opportunities in the esports sector for those wanting to get on board.
