Classic games Another World by Eric Chahi and Flashback by Paul Cuisset are coming together for the first time on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 on April 16th.
Another World is also known as Out Of This World in the USA and Outer World in Japan, the game has developed a cult status among gamers for its innovative gameplay and cinematography. The game follows the adventures of Lester Knight Chaykin, a young scientist who time travels through space when a nuclear experiment goes ary. Upon arriving on a hostile planet he befriends an alien to work together to get their freedom.
The remaster will feature high definition graphics that are faithful to the original design along with a new immersive experience with remastered sounds and effects. There will also be three game modes with Normal, Difficult and Hardcore mode.
Flasback is often ranked in the top 100 games of all time, this classic game has a ton of great new content including the Director’s Cut of the game with 2 exclusive never sene before cut scenes. There are a ton of options like Jukebox, being able to listen to any of the game’s music on demand, watch any of the games cut scenes and a Street Art Gallery.
The remastered version will feature a tutorial for newcomers to the game alongside a “Rewind” function that varies acfording to the difficulty.
The game follows young scientist Conrad B. Hard who wakes up with amnesia on a satellite of Saturn. Hard must find a way back to Earth while fending off his kidnappers and aliens who want to destroy the planet.
Both games will be available as part of the package on Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch exclusively on April 16th.
