ANOTHER year and another Ubisoft game leak before they are ready to surprise the fans. Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been announced by the Ubisoft team, perhaps ahead of time and spoiling the surprise for the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event.
As reported last week the title and potential main character were leaked on the internet and reported by Eurogamer at the time with a tweet that had since been deleted.
But today the team at Ubisoft made it official and announced that we would indeed be getting a tease of the next game in the long running Assassin’s Creed series next week at the event.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage appears to feature Basim, the Assassin from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, in his younger days, perhaps looking to return to the series roots as suggested in the leak.
I’m a huge fan of the Assassin’s Creed series and am looking forward to what Ubisoft has to show off next week.
