Point and click adventure Pants Quest has a new trailer and release date. Pants Quest will be available from the 1st of March on Steam.
Pants Quest is about a man called Dave who is trying to track down his lost pants. Dave’s cat follows him around the house while he works through puzzles and inconveniences. Retro pixel art and gloomy weather set the scene for this early morning adventure.
The devs share on the steam page for Pants Quest that “the tone is funny but also kind of introspective, following the kind of crappy morning that makes you rethink every decision you’ve ever made while wandering around in your underwear.” The trailer and steam page for this game share a Dante Hicks (Clerks – 1994) “I’m not even supposed to be here today” dark humour mood.
Pants Quest is made by a small studio based in Melbourne, Australia – Ghost Cat Games.
Ghost Cat Games have been transparent that Pants Quest is a short adventure. For any gamers looking for new gaming experiences but don’t have the time or attention span for long games this could be a good pick for you.
If Pants Quest looks like a point and click adventure you’d like to check out, don’t forget to wishlist the game on Steam (this really helps indie devs). You can also join the Ghost Cat Games Discord server for game updates.
