Overwatch was, for me, a unique FPS multiplayer experience for its time. Before then, I was more into your Call of Duty’s, sometimes Battlefield, etc. But there was something different about Overwatch when it came onto the scene in 2016. And, it wasn’t long before I became addicted. Or “OO” – Overwatch Obsessed. For example, I spent the whole duration of Overwatch’s 2016 Christmas event in-game. Which is by far the most memorable event Overwatch has had. By 2018, I’d bought it not once, not twice, but three times. Just so I could play with my friends on all platforms.…

I’ve never been the biggest watch wearer. Except when I was a kid, which is odd as I had all the time in the world and no where important to be. So I never really needed one. No pun intended. My interest in wearing a watch faded away as time went on. Again, no pun intended. OK, maybe a little. Bad puns aside, Huawei previously hooked me up with their Watch Fit last year. It was the first time in my adult life where a watch became a part of my life. Not only was the Watch Fit a lot…

A shiny new season has begun in Fortnite where everything is starting to look chrome. And no, we aren’t talking about the browser. Chrome buildings, chrome weapons, chrome you, plus a plethora of new character skins, and more are available in Chapter 3: Season 4 of Fortnite. This season, eerily named Paridise, see’s the island taking on a new splash of paint as chrome starts to take over anything it touches. A brand new structure has also appeared near the abandoned Sanctuary. Built entirely of chrome, Herald’s Sanctum is a hexagonal-like structure which houses the chrome leader, The Herald, as…

The Disney and Marvel Game Showcase was recently held during D23 Expo 2022 and featured more news about Marvel’s Midnight Suns. As previously reported in August, Marvel’s Midnight Suns was pushed further back from its October 7 release date. This was the second delay for the tactical RPG, as the devs wanted to “deliver the best possible experience for fans.” No date was announced, apart from being later in the fiscal year. This was until Firaxis Games announced during the Game Showcase at D23 that Marvel’s Midnight Suns will launch on December 2. However, this only applies to PC, Playstation 5…

I’m no stranger to reviewing TCL’s top-of-the-range smart TV’s. And both of my previous review units have impressed me in their own unique way. Between their stunning picture quality, booming sound and (sometimes) impressive technical features,  TCL are still a brand I recommend on the regular. So you could say my expectations were high when it came to reviewing my third, the TCL 55” C635 Google TV. However I don’t feel like I have much to say about this particular range. TCL’s C635 series features an already familiar QLED 4K Ultra HD display, Dolby Atmos, 120Hz refresh rate (2K display…

Last week, we spoke about an exclusive NBA 2K23 virtual presentation that GOA were lucky enough to attend. The NBA 2K23 devs were more than happy to share some early details with us and a small handful of others, including changes being made to the MyNBA mode. But what I didn’t reveal was that there was a lot more information that we were sitting on. The devs not only shared details about the newly branded “MyNBA Eras” but also the big changes coming to MyTEAM. It’s not being re-branded, but the devs have promised that it’ll be “more accessible” to…

I’ve never had the flashiest office setup, nor have I had an uncluttered desk. Instead of owning a gaming PC, I’ve opted for owning a gaming laptop. But over the years, I’ve added additional peripherals and a second monitor. Filling my average-sized desk to the point where I should have chosen a PC instead. But a solution to both my clutter issue and my lack of RGB lighting has been brought to my attention. Bonelk recently launched a new range of laptop stands, including one designed specifically for gamers. The “Elevate” range by Bonelk includes three types of stands…

There’s a mulit-verse out there, I’m 95% sure of it. And I have this theory that Rollerdrome is a product of the multi-verse. Well, either it or its developer, Roll7. Who you might know from the OlliOlli series, which seems to be somewhat on-brand when you think about it. While OlliOlli is a game about skateboarding, Rollerdrome centres around roller-skating. But with a twist. Rollerdrome is one part extreme sports and one part third-person shooter. So it’s kind of like a violent Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater from an alternate universe. But it’s not exactly a clone of Tony Hawk, nor…

An announcement has been “teased” in a very obvious way on social media for the past week, as well as the reveal of its next cover athlete. So news of this years entry of 2K’s PGA TOUR IP comes at no surprise. But there’s a lot more to this announcement than we were expecting. PGA TOUR 2K was introduced back in 2020 after replacing The Golf Club, an IP which 2K acquired publishing rights to in 2018. However, things have been quiet on the green since the release of PGA TOUR 2K21 with no annual entry for the golfing franchise…

Captivating. Unhealthy. Concerning. These are some of the words to describe my relationship with Marvel Snap. When it was teased back in May of this year, the general public were unsure of what to expect. But there were many people in the comments hoping that this wasn’t another card game. Which is just what they got. Marvel Snap is a new fast-paced collectable card game featuring characters from the Marvel Universe. But in my eyes, this isn’t just another card game. Marvel Snap is quickly becoming the evolution of what a collectable-card game can be. As well as becoming my…
