Starting next week, Fortnite is launching a limited-time Australian closed beta for mobile on GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet, all streamed through the Safari web browser on iOS and the GeForce NOW Android app.
Mobile bloody gaming! Come on!
Since its launch on 19 October 2021, GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet has seen more than 92,000 members stream more than 46 million minutes of gameplay. The invite-only Fortnite closed beta will help test server capacity, graphics delivery, and new touch controls performance. Subscribers will be admitted to the beta in batches over the coming weeks.
“We’re seeing a shift now in gaming to have a big focus on content the same way that other streaming platforms now compete for shows – cloud gaming is competing to have the best game libraries for players. We’re excited to see Fortnite for mobile join GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet and will be eagerly awaiting the results of the closed beta,” said Pentanet Managing Director Stephen Cornish.
