Microsoft did a hell of a lot of heavy lifting during their E3 presentation, so much so that you may have missed some exciting reveals from your own favourite series that didn’t get their own feature presentations and instead were a part of Xbox’s wide net of content, one of these was Gearbox’s Borderlands 3.
NEW TRAILER.
Borderlands fans were treated to the newest trailer for the up and coming title, “We Are Mayhem”.
Set to a killer, bassy soundtrack, the latest trailer treats us to an introduction of the four new Vault Hunters:
- MUZE – the gunner
- FL4K – the beastmaster
- ZANE FLYNT – the operative
- AMARA – the siren
We also got to see some cameos from series favourites, as well as that pesky/incredibly hilarious looking gun with legs!
With every new video that appears, this title looks more and more delicious, don’t forget that mayhem is coming, and it arrives on the 13th of September this year.
BORDERLANDS 2 DLC CONFIRMED.
Borderlands 2 was released all the way back in 2014, and it’s been a while since the title has had any new content appear, add to that all of the announcements for Borderlands 3, and fans could be forgiven for thinking 2 was done.
Not so.
It was revealed at E3 today during the Xbox presentation that “Commander Lilith & The Fight For Sanctuary” is a new DLC coming to Borderlands 2, that will tie into the events of Borderlands 3.
The new DLC requires the Handsome Collection version of the game, and it made absolute sense that we saw this reveal during the Xbox presentation, as this version of Borderlands made its debut on Xbox Game Pass today also.
