FORMER AFL player and official Call of Duty ambassador for Brendan Fevola has recently revealed his dedication to the popular multiplayer first-person shooter series, clocking up thousands of hours in the game.
Brendan, who is one third of Fox FM’s Fifi, Fev & Nick for Breakfast trio on Melbourne’s 101.9FM radio station, had his CoD stats revealed live on-air.
Co-host’s Fifi Box and Nick Cody shared the revealing statistics, collected over the 12 months prior to the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – and depending on who you are, these stats may shock you, or seem like rookie numbers.
Fifi Box revealed to listeners, as well as her co-hosts, that Brendan Fevola had played a whopping 2,772 hours during that time. Box then continued to break down those numbers even further, leading to even more shocked responses.
Box calculated that “in days, that is 115 days of sitting at your desk playing CoD. That’s 3.78 months you’ve sat there. That’s a third of the year!”
However, Fevola seems pretty proud of his statistics, stating “That’s a great effort!” His wife, Alex Fevola, also chimed in after hearing of these stats on-air and sent Brendan a text message not long after.
Alex said “That is so gross… literally every minute you have you’re on that game, also add to those stats, 5000 bottles of wine.”
Fevola has been an official ambassador for Call of Duty since June 2020. And with a title like that, it’s no surprise he’s dedicated so much time to the game.
