Mark your calendars and set your alarms, as Sunday morning is when Fortnite wraps up Chapter 3 Season 2. And in typical Fortnite fashion, they’re finishing it with with an epic finale. The event, titled Collision, starts from 6AM AEST on Sunday June 5th. Players will be able to start hopping into the Collision playlist half an hour prior to get themselves, and their squads, ready for action.
Specifics of what this event will entail haven’t been mention in the Fortnite Blog apart from a vague video featuring a familiar character. The teaser features audio wave visuals and audio of a woman saying “Hurry to battle stations!” Followed by an image of a robot bear head. This is the same mech that appeared in Fortnite back in 2019 before disappearing for good. Until now.
Fortnite also has some Collision goodies for those who log in prior to the event. An exclusive Loading Screen and Lobby Track will be given to players who jump on from 10PM AEST on June 4th. Devs also advise players to make sure they’ve spent all of their Gold Bars and Omni Chips before the event. As well as all Prowler and season events. All unused Gold Bars/Omni Chips will be taken from players when the new season begins. Battle Stars however will be automatically spent on the earliest redeemable rewards on your Battle Pass.
