Xbox today announced the addition of some absolute cracker games to the Xbox Backwards Compatibility library.  Gamers have played over 1 billion hours of Xbox 360 and Original Xbox games on Xbox One – and these games sure are going to boost those numbers!

The historic collection of Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, Portal: Still Alive, Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2 have been enhanced for Xbox One X and are now available to play. Whether players are revisiting these iconic titles or experiencing them for the first time, they’ll see them with the stunning visuals only the Xbox One X can deliver.

Half-Life 2: The Orange Box which includes 5 games that helped make Valve a household name:
Half-Life 2 – The full version of the game that earned over 40 Game of the Year Awards and sold over 5 million copies worldwide.
Half-Life 2: Episode One – The first installment in Valve’s episodic trilogy.
Half-Life 2: Episode Two – Advances the award-winning Half-Life story, while introducing new characters, weapons and environments.
Portal – Set in the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories, Portal has been called one of the most innovative new games on the horizon and will offer gamers hours of unique gameplay.
Team Fortress 2 – The sequel to the game that put class-based, multiplayer team warfare on the map, and this year’s most anticipated online action game.

    Portal: Still Alive
As unwilling test subjects in a sinister laboratory, players must break the laws of physics using ‘portal’ technology to solve puzzles and survive. Featuring a darkly comic story that weaves adventure with brain-bending puzzles; ‘Portal: Still Alive’ also introduces 14 brand new bonus puzzles to challenge even the most skilled test subjects.

    Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead™ casts up to four “Survivors” in an epic struggle against hordes of swarming zombies and terrifying “Boss Infected” mutants. Are you ready for the Zombie Apocalypse?

    Left 4 Dead 2
Set in the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) is the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning Left 4 Dead, the #1 co-op game of 2008.
This co-operative action horror FPS takes you and your friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the Deep South, from Savannah to New Orleans across five expansive campaigns.

With these games freshly added to Xbox Backwards Compatibility library that contains over 500 Xbox 360 games, 21 Xbox One X Enhanced Xbox 360 titles, and 32 Original Xbox games, it’s sure to be a ripper weekend in gaming!
