In any other year, we would be celebrating all the great and wonderful news that usually comes from the annual E3 event in Los Angeles. This year threw us a huge curveball, and E3, Gamescom and other large gaming events have either been cancelled or postponed this year which left huge holes in our gaming calendars. However, the games must go on, and so several companies are putting together digital gaming shows to showcase the amazing work of game developers and publishers worldwide, and I’m sure glad I can still wake up each day and learn of a new game or ten. One such digital show aired their first daily show last night from their three-day games festival called Guerrilla Collective.
Guerrilla Collective is an online digital games festival hosted by Greg Miller and produced by Media Indie Exchange (The MIX) with Kinda Funny Games Showcase. I was up late feeding my newborn daughter and only caught the last half of the show. It was a quick-fire of one trailer after another and every so often we’d see the host talk, but otherwise the focus was purely on the wonderful array of games, most of which I’d never heard before and the old E3 excitement was certainly there. Here’s a list of the games announced last night.

After two decades, Nightdive Studios is rebooting and re-imagining the original System Shock. We will keep the new game true to the classic experience, keeping all the things you loved while giving today’s gamers the modern look and feel expected from a great game.
