Team Serenity
The International or TI is to DOTA, what the Grand Final is to AFL. Or the Super Bowl for NFL. The best DoTA 2 teams battle it out for glory and to win a large prize pool. Last year the winners of TI 7, Team Liquid, took home 10.5 million (US) to split between 5 players, support staff and sponsors. If you want a run-down of DOTA 2 click here for my review.
The TI 8 has started with the Chinese qualifiers. A fairly unknown team, Team Serenity, winning a ticket to the main event held at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada.
