THE top four teams in the World of Tanks ANZ Premier League will go head-to-head this Friday during the semi-finals. The road to crowning the winning team has been mapped over the next 2 weeks with the grand final taking place on Saturday May 22 at Fortress Melbourne.
The Final Four – Melbourne Matildas, Brisbane Bulldogs, North Sydney Sentinels and South Sydney Skorpions – are competing not only to be crowned ANZ champions for season two but also for $10,000 of the $20,000 shared prize money. Competitors from the winning team will each go home with a ROG Strix Curved 32 inch WQHD Gaming Monitor as well.
Following this Friday’s semi-finals, a match for third place is scheduled for the following Friday. Wargaming staff and community members will also compete in a showmatch against each other during said Friday.
“Season two of the Premier League has seen upsets, wild swings in the leaderboard, and both veterans and newer competitors alike making incredible plays” said World of Tanks ANZ Product Manager, Jake Truman. “We can’t wait to see the competition heat up across the finals series and finally get to watch our players at an in-person grand final!”
