World of Tanks: Blitz players have one final chance this weekend to try out Big Boss mode – an action RPG-like mode involving7v7 player-vs-player tank battles in the popular free-to-play game.
Team members are randomly assigned special roles with unique abilities, with one tank in each team becoming The Boss.
The Boss tank receives a 30% increase to damage and speed, 50% faster reloads, and quadruple HP. Boss Tanks can can push and damage the enemies with a Blast Wave active ability and use their Megashot passive ability to deal damage to a line of tanks.
Lest the Boss Tank be considered too OP, they are somewhat nerfed by the fact they can only respawn twice per battle, and do not change roles during the match.
However, the rest of the team receives unlimited respawns, and can switch between the RPG-like roles of Regenerator, Catalyst, Bomber, and Graviton at random. Featuring unique active and passive abilities, these roles each have up to five upgradeable levels to unlock.
Taking out a Boss Tank is worth 5 points, and any other tank is worth 1 point; the first team to 30 points wins.
The Big Boss mode can be played in any Tier V to X vehicle, and for more information Big Boss Mode (including a detailed availability time schedule) visit: http://blitzboss.com/.
