THE last-ever Xbox One X limited edition design has been unveiled and fittingly, it’s for the upcoming Cyberpunk: 2077.
The limited edition console, which Microsoft say captures “the vibrant grit and technical enhancements of Night City” and will be available from June also comes with a 1TB HDD, a matching Cyberpunk: 2077 limited edition Xbox Wireless Controller, and – when it releases on September 17 – full digital download of the Cyberpunk: 2077 game itself.
The controller itself is available now (RRP: AUD$99) and features a half natural/half cybernetic design inspired by inspired by the Johnny Silverhand character in the game, played by Keanu Reeves.
Xbox have also announced special and limited-edition accessories with their own Cyberpunk 2077 theme, including an Xbox Pro charging stand, a 2TB or 5TB size Seagate external HDD, and an Arctis 1 wireless headset, which Microsoft say is “the official headset of Cyberpunk 2077”.
Full details of the console and accessories are available on the official Xbox Wire site.
There is a question mark over whether these accessories will be available in Australia, but given we’re all buying everything off the internet now anyway they probably won’t be too hard to get for anyone who has their heart set on them.
I have to say I like the style of the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One and its accompanying controller, and given it’s the final limited edition of the console being released (the Xbox Series X is still apparently on track for a Christmas release this year) it’s likely to be popular with collectors too.
