FORTNITE has started to look a bit sharper on the Nintendo Switch as of today thanks to a new performance and visual update. Fortnite’s resolution in both handheld and docked modes have been given a significant upgrade which will not only enhance visuals but save 140MB of storage.
Thanks to the update, Fortnite will make better use of the consoles GPU allowing for a better frame rate and an increase of at least 38% more pixels in handheld mode. Resolution in Handheld jumps from 1000 x 560 to 1170 x 660 while Docked mode receives a similarly sized jump from 1390 x 780 to 1560 x 880.
