Mini Motorways
Mini Motorways is strategy gamer heaven. The goal in the game is to help cars reach their destination by building the most efficient roadway network. The strategy lies in managing increasing demand on the network while being provided limited resources.
Dinosaur Polo Club, the developers for Mini Motorways, continue to add content to the game. Recently to celebrate their 10 year anniversary of the first “mini-universe” game, Mini Metro, they added additional maps to both games.
Mini Motorways is available on iOS, via Apple Arcade ($7.99 per month) and on the Nintendo Switch ($19.99), and on Steam ($14.50). This game is perfect for a mum who loves strategy games.

Does your mum need a lift to her gaming space? The Bonelk Elevate Gamer LED laptop stand has is a game changer – no pun intended. While Nicco had the stand for review he noted “It’s brightened up my setup as well as allowed me to work and game in an uncluttered environment”.

Blue is a trusted name in gaming tech. Their Blue Yeti microphone has been an essential and mainstay item of a streamer set-up. The Blue Yeti is now available in sweet pink, as well as more traditional colours – blackout, blue/black, and off white.
GOA writer and mum Doomcutie recently used the sweet pink Blue Yeti, and found it to be easy to use, and recommends it for beginners.
The microphone is currently on sale at JB Hi-Fi ($29 off!) for $169.
