Diablo Immortal is finally coming to mobile and there’s a free cosmetic set up for grabs, here’s how to get it!
- Blizzard announces mobile launch and Open beta PC launch will happen on June 3
- Cross-play & cross progression available with PC
- Six classes to choose from
Today Blizzard announced both the Diablo Immortal PC Open Beta and the full mobile experience will launch on June 3, and with it an opportunity to grab a fresh new set of cosmetic threads.
The game will include full cross-play and cross progression between mobile and PC meaning you can be hammering away using your keyboard and mouse, and as soon as you have to leave to get to that Dr’s appointment you can switch over to mobile and continue your journey. The mobile experience will be launching on iOS and Android, while Windows users will be able to play via the Battle.net app on their PC.
The PC beta will include the entire game and all of the features available on the mobile release, but even better your progress will be maintained once the game leaves beta. It will include integrated controller support unless you’d prefer going it with a keyboard and mouse, while the mobile version will include the fluid touch controls on screen.
Social Mechanics & PVP.
Diablo Immortal explores Sanctuary, and takes place between Diablo II and Diablo III. The game has players travelling through eight unique zones to gather the shards of the shattered Worldstone before the Lieutenant of Diable himself, Skarn, gets to them first.
Players will be able to choose from six of Diablo’s iconic classes including Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard, while hunting for legendary gear and Set Items complete with affixes and bonuses allowing players to completely switch up any classes play style.
Diablo Immortal is heavily weighted towards social elements with Warbands and Clans available to participate in from either side of the Shadows or Immortals factions. Warbands allow players to join forces with up to seven other players (maximum eight) to tackle targeted objectives as a team. Clans will have player caps of 150 members and will work together to grind achievements, and participate in server-wide PvP faction conflicts.
The Cycle of Strife PVP brings players together in faction conflicts between Shadows and Immortals with an added bonus game mode. The top player of a server will gain the Eternal Crown and become the leader of the Immortals before having to defend their reign 1 v 30 against the Shadows!
