EPIC Games have surprised Fortnite fans this morning with a new mode that’s playable right now. Fortnite Impostors is a new flavour with a familiar taste where players will either work as IO Agents or “IO Agents”. In groups of up to 10 players, available in both private and public matches, two impostors are picked at random and will have to blend in with other players.
While maintaining The Bridge, which is also a new map for Fortnite, Agents will complete tasks while Impostors will try sabotaging them and slowly pick off Agents. However if Impostors or Agents seem too suspicious, a Discussion can be held in The Bridge’s centre room and players can be voted out. During this time, players can communicate by using emotes or using the Quick Chat feature.
Fortnite Impostors is definitely a new take on 2018’s Among Us, which took the world by storm last year. The two share the exact same gameplay mechanics but whether that means people stick to the OG or try Fortnite’s iteration is uncertain.
