AFTER running into technical difficulties just short of a month before its launch, CI games had to delay its release of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 on the Playstation 5. However, the studio have finally announced its launch date for the next-gen console. Playstation 5 users will be able to play the PS5 version of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 from August 24. The first DLC for the already successful first-person sniper will also be available free-of-charge across all platforms due to the delay.
The Playstation 5 version will come with improved loading times and enhanced visuals as well as benefiting from the Dualsense Controller’s adaptive triggers. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 will be available to play in performance mode at 60fps in 2K or visual mode running at 30fps in 4K. Owners of the Playstation 4 version of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 also have access to a free PS5 upgrade.
