TABLETOP RPG publishers Chaosium Inc have announced the release of the two-volume slipcase set of the Malleus Monstrorom bestiary guide for their award-winning Call Of Cthulhu RPG.
The two volumes encompass more than 250 entries covering everything from worm-like Yuggs all the way to Great Old Ones like Cthulhu himself – not to mention Outer Gods and Elder Gods.
The official announcement describes the set as “A cavalcade of monsters and god-like alien intelligences beyond human understanding, all vividly detailed and portrayed…. The information within is designed to bring the creatures and bizarre races of the Cthulhu Mythos to life at the gaming table, as well as all manner of Great Old Ones, Outer Gods, Elder Gods, Avatars, and Unique Beings (with) their lore and statistics updated and revised for the Call of Cthulhu 7th edition game (and Pulp Cthulhu), all brought to startling life by the illustrations of expert artist Loïc Muzy” and goes on to note “This 460 page two-volume collection is packed with ideas, concepts, and insights to immerse your scenarios and campaigns deep in the heart of the Cthulhu Mythos.“
The slipcase set has an RRP of USD$89.99 (AUD$120), which also includes .pdf copies of the books too.
The Malleus Monstoroum slipcase set can be ordered direct from Chaosium, with retail copies expected to make their way into stores in the first months of 2021.
