THE world of Necromunda is a dangerous and gritty place as shown in the new trailer for the upcoming fast-paced indie FPS by StreumOn Studio. Necromunda: Hired Gun, which is based off the tabletop game by Games Workshop, was revealed last month showing it’s dark factory-like underworld, punk character aesthetic and fast-paced gunplay.
The new trailer however introduces us more to the under hive of Necromunda, which happens to share the same universe as Warhammer 40,000. Filled with pipes, factory machinery and little light, the underground world of Necromunda is a dangerous utopia. In Necromunda: Hired Gun, you’ll be playing a bounty hunter. Along with your trusty cyber mastiff sidekick, you’ll be busy taking down target for various houses and gangs. But there’s more to it than just looting and shooting.
The local bar for example is somewhere you’ll be regularly visiting for more than just a drink. The barmaid holds plenty of information not only about the various targets you’ll receive but also those you should watch carefully. Throughout the course of Necromunda: Hired Gun, you’ll also be able to upgrade your bionic augments and customise your character.
Necromunda: Hired Gun will be available digitally from June 1 and at retailers from June 30.
