The unveiling of a new Control Map – Busan
Inspired from the Korean city itself, with real life audio taken to be used with the map itself. The map has 3 areas; Sanctuary, Downtown and D.Va’s MEKA base. To further add to the excitement of a new map, Jeff Kaplan then advised the map is live now on the PTR! (public test realm)
New Overwatch Animated Short- “Shooting Star”
After the map release and the hype of Korea itself, it only seemed natural that the new animated short would be about Hana “D.Va” Song
The animated short tells the story of D.Va, who was recently victorious against a city threat of Omnics. We are introduced to another side of the Ace Pilot Korean Star, as we meet her best friend and the lengths she’ll go to to defend her city against a new breed of Omnics that pose a new threat.
