LAST week, 2K and Gearbox announced Tales from the Borderlands was returning to digital stores. Up until recently, the game been sitting in licencing limbo ever since the fall of Telltale Games almost two years ago. Following the games relaunch this week, Borderlands was announced to be going portable once again. This weeks Nintendo Direct contained a plethora exciting news for Nintendo fans including the announcement of Tales from the Borderlands coming to the Nintendo Switch. Just like the Xbox, Playstation and PC releases, the Switch version of Tales from the Borderlands will contain all 5 episodes in the one bundle. And no, they aren’t sold separately.
Tales from the Borderlands follows the story of a con-artist named Fiona who tries to sell fake Vault Key to Atlas Corporation CEO, Rhys. If that name rings a bell, that’s because his character is also featured in Borderlands 3. While it may seem like spin-off, Tales from the Borderlands has an important spot on the Borderlands timeline between Borderlands 2 and 3.
Tales from the Borderlands will be available on Nintendo Switch from March 24.
