Last month we saw Blizzard Entertainment announce the 2019 Overwatch World Cup via their social media platforms. As per last year, Blizzard have opened the doors for each country to nominate their “committee” for the event, with the roles being as follows:
- Head Coach
- General Manager
- Community Lead
Endorsements will be open to anyone who thinks they have what it takes, with the deadline being May 23rd. Following that, voting will be opened for the community to vote on May 30th. Last year saw Boston Uprisings Asst. Coach, Jordan “Gunba” Graham, take on the position of Head Coach for Team Australia; pushing the team to a 5th-8th placement. We also saw two familiar faces in the likes of Andrew “rqt” Haws and Oasis “oasis” Nip, take on the roles of General Manager and Community Lead respectively.
How do you apply?
