State of Play is over yet again and in case you missed the show, here’s a rundown of what was shown. Unfortunately there was no news on PSVR2, hardware anything Final Fantasy 7 Remake related.
State of Play opened the show with Exoprimal, a co-op game where you fight a ton of dinosaurs. Developed by Capcom, Exoprimal will release in 2023 for PS4 and PS5.
Next we got a look at a new trailer for Ghostwire: Tokyo which drops later this month.
Following on State of Play gave us a brief look at Square Enix’s Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin which is due for release on 18th March.
Continuing on we saw a new trailer and gameplay for Forspoken by Square Enix which was announced a few days ago that it had been delayed until October
Onward we saw 6 v 6 action in Gundam Evolution a multiplayer shooter out later on this year
For all you retro fans out there, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection by Konami is just for you
Gigabash is a 3D brawler. think Rampage with Kaiju out later on in 2022
Fan favourite fighting game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R is a remake of the original 2013 JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle due in early Spring.
next was Trek to Yomi, a black and white samurai game inspired by Akira Kurosawa movies
PS5’s exclusive Returnal gets the Ascension update, which brings a survival mode and campaign co-op in a free patch this month.
State of Play ended with 2 Square Enix titles. The first was a strategy RPG called The Diofield Chronicle due out sometime this year.
Second is an action RPG called Valkyrie Elysium again due out later on in 2022.
