QuakeCon 2021 Day 1 kicked off in style with the launch of a new version of the original Quake. It’s been 25 years since the original Quake released and this enhanced version will have fans salivating. Very excited to see that four-player split screen multiplayer is back, as well as eight-player online multiplayer, featuring cross-platform play. Quake is available on PC, Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo Switch. It is also available as part of Xbox Games Pass.
We got an expanded look at Deathloop. Fresh gameplay footage and a deeper discussion of this immersive shooter showed off what this game has to offer. Deathloop releases soon for PS5 and PC.
Quakecon 2021 Day 1 gave us some Fallout 76 news. Rotating Public Worlds, custom Worlds for Fallout 1st members, along with Daily Ops Expansion II and a newVault 51 for players to explore.
The dust has settled from the events of The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood, yet schemes of Mehrunes Dagon persist in its aftermath. The Elder Scrolls Online: Waking Flame DLC continues the story and delivers two new dungeons on Aug. 23rd for PC/MAC, and Sept. 8 for consoles. Players can try Elder Scrolls Online now through Aug. 30 during the Free Play Event.
Update 6.66 comes to Doom Eternal, with a new Horde Mode, Battlemode updates as well as two new Master Levels. QuakeCon 2021 Day 1 also revealed The Ancient Gods Part Two will release on the Nintendo Switch on August 26.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, which contains all three expansions and enhancements in the Special Edition. The London Symphony Orchestra will also be livestreaming the game’s original score on November 11th to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary.
