[This unedited press release has been provided by TCL PR and is presented by the GOA team for informational purposes]

12 January 2021, Melbourne, Australia – TCL, one of the world’s fastest-growing consumer electronics companies, today announced a slew of new high-performance products across multiple categories with the aim of turning the humble home into a fully integrated entertainment hub.

TCL Australia General Manager of Sales, Jason Carrick, says the new audio, visual and home appliances – which include the recently released refrigeration range – further illustrates the company’s “AI x IoT” strategy to build an all-scenario smart display ecosystem.

“TCL continues to expand its smart home offerings with enhanced infrastructure and more comprehensive services, continually building superior products and customer experiences for Australians,” Carrick explains.

    Beyond powerful picture performance

TCL’s new Mini-LED, QLED and 4K HDR TVs demonstrate the brand’s continuous commitment to advancing Mini-LED Display technology.

C825 4K Mini-LED TV – faster, smoother graphics and sharper sound effects

TCL’s latest 4K Mini-LED TV C825 elevates TV viewing and video gaming standards to the next level.

C825 adopts straight down backlight mode, reducing the grain size of traditional LED to 100 ~200 μm. Thousands of light control units are used to increase the number of backlight sources. Combined with full array, ultra-high targeted regional brightness adjustment is realised to bring a better visual experience.

Featuring Quantum Dot Display Technology, C825 combines light and colour, higher gamut, and more precise light control to achieve the ultimate picture quality effect.

C825 also features Dolby Vision HDR imaging technology – producing ultra-vivid picture quality that brings entertainment to life – and Dolby Vision IQ, which leverages the full intelligence of C825 to deliver a perfect picture at every moment by dynamically adjusting to the changing light conditions and the types of content being played all while maximising the TV’s full capabilities.

With supreme audio-visual quality together with Imax Enhanced, C825 will deliver unparalleled enjoyment to home viewers. And to make moving images smoother and video gaming more engaging, C825 uses 200CMR and 120Hz low reverse display.

Additionally, a 4-way HDMI 2.1 port, VRR, ALLM, eARC, WiFi6 and low input lag give gaming fans faster, smoother graphics and better sound effects. A magnetic split-type camera 4M Pixel delivers superb visual and audio interactions for superior video call experiences.

C725 4K QLED TV – interactive entertainment hub

Elevating Quantum Dot Display Technology to a new level, TCL’s C725 4K QLED TV offers excellent value for those who want a high-quality, interactive home entertainment solution as part of a connected and smart lifestyle.

With nearly 100 per cent ultra-high colour gamut (DCI-P3), C725 will deliver a dazzling colour spectrum without the limitations of lower colour volume or shorter lifespans found in existing technologies.

Dolby Vision ultra-vivid picture, Dolby Atmos immersive audio and Onkyo combine to deliver an audiovisual feast. The C725’s AiPQ Engine switches on the full potential of TCL’s big-screen TVs with real-time optimisation for different entertainment or content genres.

Users can enjoy Hands-Free Voice Control 2.0, Google Duo and unlimited content from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play and Movie, Disney+ and more, adding to the enjoyment of an intelligent life.

In addition, C725 supports both 100 CMR and HDMI 2.1 to deliver images that are always smooth, even in fast-moving action scenes.

    P725 4K HDR TV – ultra-vivid Dolby Vision

TCL’s P725 is a 4K HDR TV featuring Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos that combines high dynamic range (HDR) with wide colour gamut capabilities. This delivers ultra-vivid picture quality with incredible brightness, contrast, colour and detail.

Dolby Atmos produces a sound that moves all around you with breathtaking realism, resulting in incredible acoustic clarity that allows you to pick up details you’ve never heard before.

Silky-smooth CMR motion picture processing ensures crisper, clearer and more stable image performance, particularly in fast-moving, action-packed scenes.

P725‘s Hands-Free Voice Control 2.0 enables users to switch channels, set reminders and explore streaming services with a simple voice command. P725 also offers enhanced entertainment experience with the latest in Android TV OS. It’s millimetre-thin metallic trim design delivers a broader and wider sense for entertainment.

TS8111 Soundbar with built-in subwoofer – immersive home cinematic sound

TCL’s newest soundbar offers immersive Dolby Atmos in a single system.

Featuring a carefully engineered combination of angled drivers and acoustic radiators, TS8111 offers a seamless sound experience that moves around you. A built-in subwoofer delivers great bass performance while Bluetooth capability turns the soundbar into a powerful music system.

TCL’s industry-first Standards Australia approved refrigerator

TCL’s flagship 454L top mount refrigerator (model P491TMS) leads the way in terms of technology, style, capacity – and industry compliance.

“With 421-litres of usable space, this 4-star model is the first to comply with the new 2021 AS/NZS IEC 62552-3 standard,” explains Carrick. “Not only is this an industry first for Australia but also demonstrates TCL’s commitment to providing a fairer choice for Australian consumers who are conscious about their energy consumption.”

As a leading global consumer electronics brand, TCL has vast experience in both the refrigeration and the broader consumer technology sector, including industry-leading smart fridges, washing machines and dryers.

“We look forward to bringing some of these amazing new products to Australian consumers over the next year,” he says.

Please note product appearances, functionalities and availabilities may differ between countries and regions.
