CHALLENGER Pack 10 launches on June 30 as part of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Fighter Pass Vol. 2, introducing one of Tekken’s most iconic characters. Kazuya Mishima from the Tekken franchise is the latest character to join the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster, bringing with him a new Tekken inspired stage as well as music from the franchise. 39 tracks to be precise.
Super Smash Bros. Director, Masahiro Sakurai, recently hosted a special presentation about the latest Challenger Pack, showing off the new stage, as well as Kazuya’s move set. Masahiro Sakurai shows that Kazuya’s moves will be similar to those in Tekken, including his Devil’s Power from more recent Tekken games. Kazuya Mishima’s Devil’s Power transformation is required to pull off mid-air jumps, smash attacks and special moves.
The Mishima Dojo stage is also different to other Super Smash Bros. stages as it has no floating platforms to it. However, the fully enclosed stage has a breakable wall and ceilings.
