Our friends at PLE Computers did Pete and I a massive. They’ve given us both a BattleBull gaming chair to try out.
Now, personally, I was a little skeptical. I mean, I have a perfectly good couch that has a shelf to house my coke/beer/whisky (depends on what time of the day I am gaming). What could this gaming chair offer that my perfectly couch couldn’t?
Well, I tell you, the gaming experience in the chair was something else. The BattleBull chair is deluxe. Absolutely, the best bit is the ability to recline it. Personally, I’m a 125 degrees man, but this baby gives you the option to go to the full 180.
ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DEGREES!!!
I’m pretty sure you’d only need to recline that far if and when you had a lady friend join you on the chair, if you get my drift? Mountain Dew, anyone?
But I tell you… the big advantage over the couch is the ability to get closer to the TV. I’m currently playing Ghost Recon, and on my shitty old Samsung LCD TV, the text can be a bit hard to read. Not so when I’m in the chair! It’s ding dong!
The only drama I have now is finding a spot for the chair when it’s not in use. Living in a tiny house with three kids and a gaming hating wife, it hasn’t exactly been welcomed into the family. Even today, to quote Mrs Nut…
“I hate this gaming chair already”
Bit harsh… but I’ll win her over.
The Battlebull is highly recommended, and PLE Computers currently have them for $300. Believe me, it’s worth it!
