So… this little gamer just got back from four hectic days in Las Vegas – and I beheld a sight that seriously, has to be seen to be believed.
For the uninitiated, I’m a bit of a Vegas veteran… having been there 5 times over the past 10 years. So imagine my delight when, on this most recent visit, I caught this magnificent sight.
That’s right… Las Vegas now plays host to this amazing Esports arena at the Luxor…
A little bit of research tells us that it’s a 30,000 square foot (around 2700 square metres) of Esports glory… where dreams are made and broken.
It’s literally designed to host every form of competitive gaming, from daily play to high-stakes esports tournaments, and features a competition stage, 50-foot LED video wall, telescopic seating, PC and console gaming stations, and a network TV-quality production studio.
What a world we live in!
Now sadly, I never got the chance to visit… I was too busy at this other amazing place down the road at MGM Grand.
Level Up is pretty good fun too… nowhere near as big as the Luxor’s gaming offering, but seeing a casino as major as the MGM Grand is dedicating floor space to gaming means we’re coming a long way people…!!!
If you plan to get to Vegas at some stage, these two places are well worth a trip!
