You may have heard by now that Pentanet, the ISP start-up turned fixed wireless internet darling of Perth which recently listed on the ASX [5GG], confirmed earlier this year that it has secured the opportunity to roll out the NVIDIA GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform.
For a monthly subscription fee GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet will open up a tonne of accessibility for Australians to play their favourite games on just about any ordinary device they own which means in most cases no more need for high cost gaming rigs or consoles you’re currently paying a premium for, so long as you have a stable connection – if you live in Perth might we recommend Pentanet?
Cloud gaming works through server drops in locations around the world that allow the local market the ability to stream their catalogue of games, which also means less pressure on having to make sure your data storage is able to keep up.
Tonight’s digital reveal will take place on YouTube at 7pm AWST / 9pm AEDT and will feature all of the information around Beta plans and launch timing, plus I’ve been told a little something extra for viewers!
