The Game Awards was founded in 2014 by media entrepreneur Geoff Keighley, who also hosts and produces the program. The sixth annual Game Awards was run and won today with social media going nuts with updates and congratulatory posts as we saw winners crowned in more than 25 different categories. There were also a heap of game announcements, world premiers of new games coming in 2020 and one of the bigger announcements of the day, the Xbox Series X coming next year!! I’ll cover those later in a more detailed Game Awards post later on.
Without further ado, here are the Game Awards 2019 Winners. Congratulations to all nominees and the eventual winners (in bold). If you’d like to watch the replay of the evening in full, head over to the official site.
