Okay, so the headline is probably a bit much, but once again, gaming find a way.
Yes fellow gamers, the actual PAX was cancelled this year (FU COVID), but you can never keep good gamers down and the exciting news is that PAX is still coming in 2021 in online form.
Building on the success of last year’s record-breaking event, PAX Aus Online will bring a distinctly Aussie flavour to your computer screens this October 8-10 as part of Melbourne International Games Week.
The event is completely free and will be held, well, everywhere. On Twitch, Discord and their very own website.
To get involved you’ll need to:
- Subscribing to their Twitch account
- -Sign up for a Discord account
- Prepare the gaming room for suitable snacks and drinks!
Aussies bloody love their gaming and PAX is just one event that brings us all together. There’ll be international content alongside Aussie’s best, including thought-provoking panels, exciting livestreams, new game demos, tournaments and a community experience unlike any other.
As we always, always say! GAME ON, and don’t forget to save PAX.
