Ready your bow-and-arrow and call your eagle for a fast-paced open-world journey that will go from calm to chaotic. The Pathless is a new adventure game developed by Giant Squid Studios making its way to the Playstation 5 on December 8. Set on a mystical island, you play as The Hunter and it’s your job to traverse the island dispelling corrupted spirits. It’s the way your traverse however that makes this game feel so unique. With bow-and-arrow in hand, The Hunter can shoot at special targets to continue their fast dash momentum to zip around the island quicker. You can also fly to certain area’s with the help of your trusty eagle. Director Matt Nava has given a more detailed walkthrough of The Pathless’ gameplay which can be found below.
A physical edition of The Pathless will also be released on day one as well as a Vinyl Soundtrack thanks to iam8bit. “We love physical games and vinyl.
