JB Hifi scam doing the rounds.
Another week, another scam, this one coming to you via text message from one of our favourite electronics retailers, or so it would have you believe.
People have begun reporting that they are receiving a text claiming to be from JB asking for “testers” with a link for an application, and JB themselves have released a warning via twitter.
Hey Good people of the Internet!
Please be on the lookout for a SCAM text message doing the rounds re: Product Testing for JB Hi-Fi. This is NOT us!
We heavily advise not clicking the link or responding to the message.

If you do receive one of these texts, or any other correspondence that appears to be a scam remember to report it to Scamwatch and don’t click on any unknown links.
We know roughly how many hours of gameplay Spider-man on PS4 will have.
James Stevenson is the Community Director for Insomniac Games and overnight took to twitter to answer some questions from fans who are gagging for the webslinger’s release next month!
Fans have been concerned that Spider-man would feature around 12-13 hours gameplay and rumours started to swirl, this was quickly shut down by Stevenson:
our average play tester took around 20 hours on default difficulty, but some spent a lot longer if they did a ton of side quests/activities

He also revealed that the pre-load for the game will be around 45 GB as a minimum:
will try to have an answer on that soon, but 45 GB minimum, probably a bit more + patch and stuff

Spider-man for PS4 will be released on September 7.
Cyberpunk’s full E3 and Gamescom gameplay demo is now live.
CD Projekt Red showed off it’s yet to be released cyber-shooter with a 48 minute long demo available only to people who were lucky enough to get over to the recent festivals – they’ve now just made it available to the rest of us and it is AWESOME!
It’s a very thorough introduction to the RPG that moves slowly so the viewer can take in the environments. It also shows off destructible environments, combat, dialogue, and mechanics.
It was accompanied by a message from the studio:
“Since many of the assets and mechanics in the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 are most likely to be modified, we initially decided to show this gameplay only to media. Elements like gunplay (both in terms of visuals and how RPG stats influence it), netrunning, car physics, or the game’s UI — everything’s pretty much still in the playtest phase and we felt uneasy about publicly committing to any particular design,” game director Adam Badowski said, explaining CD Projekt’s initial reluctance to release the gameplay video to the public. “Animation glitches, work-in-progress character facial expressions, early versions of locations—all this made us hesitant to release what you’re about to see.”
“However, we are also well aware that many of you want to see what the media saw. Although this is probably not the same game you’ll see on your screen when we launch, we still decided to share this 48-minute video with you. This is how Cyberpunk 2077 looks today. Let us know what you think!”
Cyberpunk 2077 hasn’t been given a release date yet but we do know it is coming to all platforms except Nintendo Switch.
BONUS
Sorry, I know it’s a top 3 – but I couldn’t help myself.
