Tesla Is Adding Classic Atari Games To It’s Cars!
Imagine you’re shopping for your next car and you’re sitting in your soon to be new Tesla as the salesman takes you through the “air-conditioning, this is your stereo system, your airbags are here, and this is where you play Atari while you’re waiting for your burger at the macca’s drive-thru”.. sorry what? Yeah, Atari is coming to Tesla.
Earlier today Elon Musk announced that the latest version (9.0) of Tesla’s Infotainment system would be patched with classic Atari games!
The games would become playable whenever the car was stationary, and the steering wheel could function as a controller.
Some of best classic @Atari games coming as Easter eggs in Tesla V9.0 release in about 4 weeks. Thanks @Atari!

In follow up tweets we’ve learnt that the first three titles we could see coming to Tesla’s Atari patch could be Missile Command, Tempest, and Pole Position!
Hoping to include last three in this release, with pole position linked to actual car steering wheel (while stationary tbc haha)

Version 9.0 is set to launch early September.
