IN Tones And I’s own words, Fortnite’s Soundwave Series is “gonna be sick!“
The Australian busker-turned-international chart topper has been announced as part of Fortnite’s Soundwave Series. Kicking off on October 2nd, musical guests from all over the globe will perform interactive shows in-game, much like the recent Rift Tour which featured Ariana Grande. Like Ariana Grande’s performance, each artist will have their own unique experience while they perform songs in-game.
Tones And I joins artists such as Brazilian rapper Emicada, Japanese pop artist/music producer Gen Hoshino and French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura. Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki, who features on Fortnite radio, will be kicking off the Soundwave Series. Hamaki will also be debuting his new song “Leilt Elomr” during his performance. The dance for “Leilt Elomr” will also be available as an emote in the Item Shop from 10AM AEST on October 1st.
Players who attend any of the musical performances will also receive a commemorative Mohamed Hamaki spray. Soundwave Series will play on repeat for 48 hours from 4AM AEST on October 2nd.
