So what just happened?!… Oh that’s right, Blizzcon is this weekend!
Blizzcon is Blizzard’s huge weekend where they spend 48 hours announcing cool sh*t – most of which is accompanied by awesome cinematics! 2017 has been no exception, especially for fans of Overwatch!
I woke up this morning and fired up my phone to see a heap of tags (thanks guys!) from fellow Game On AUS Overwatch fans flooding me with more Overwatch news than I expected including:
- An Overwatch Animated short for Reinhardt
- A new Origin story cinematic heralding A NEW HERO CALLED… Moira?!
- An accompanying game-play cinematic for Moira
- A walk through of a brand new map – BLIZZARD WORLD!!!!
Everything is slated for release between now and early 2018 – don’t forget that if last year is anything to go by we also have Winter Wonderland on the way come Christmas.
Damn you Overwatch.. just when I think I’m free of you, you suck me back in!
We haven’t seen any more information, nor would we expect anymore given just how much we’ve already been blessed with, but if it comes our way we’ll be sure to let you know.
