After five weekends, over 1600 minutes of live streams and 42 games (43 if we count the Reboot Round) the winners of the third annual Fortnite Champion Series Oceania were finally crowned. Team PWR took out 19 other teams for the top share of the US$90,000 prize this past weekend. Presented by Australian Open, this years Fortnite Championship Series Oceania took place between the 14th of February and 14th of March. The tournament was streamed across seven broadcasts over the five weekends on the AO Twitch/Youtube channels and casted by leading Oceania caster Aussie Antics and American MonsterDface.
Team PWR made up of Twitch streamers PWR Muz, PWR Looter and Speedy who are just few members of the locally founded team with Looter finishing second in last years Fortnite Super Smash. Finishing up 30 points ahead of the 2nd place team with a total of 325 points, Team PWR took home US$22,500 of the total prize money. Queensland-based Lachlan, who founded Team PWR in 2020, tweeted that he was “super proud” of his teammates.
