The new card set features familiar characters and mechanics from the Dungeons & Dragons franchise, including the gnome bard Ellywick, crime boss Beholder Xanathar and more. New Dungeon Cards also come with the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set which gives it even more of D&D flavour. Exploring these dungeons not only offer players a different Magic: The Gathering experience but will also give rewards and bonuses.
The Dungeons & Dragons flavour doesn’t stop there as certain cards in physical sets come with alternate D&D-themed card art. Select Land and Creature cards Booster packs will feature iconic alternate art styles reminiscent of those from older D&D adventure modules and manuals.
