THE Xbox Series X/S accessories have been officially announced, along with their local pricing.
While Microsoft have confirmed existing Xbox One peripherals will work with the new consoles (which is just as well, because I am very fond of my Xbox Elite 2 Wireless Controller), there are some shiny new controllers to go with the anticipated new console.
Like the console, the new accessories will launch on November 10.
The new controllers look pretty much the same as the current Xbox One controllers, but feature a dedicated “Share” button and a D-pad which takes its cues from the aforementioned Elite 2 controller.
The controllers will be available in Carbon Black and Robot white from November 10 for AUD$89.95 (NZD$99.95 for gamers across the ditch), with the Shock Blue controller costing AUD$94.95 (NZD$109.95)
Also included in the announcement is the Xbox Play And Charge kit which will – as the name suggests – let you charge a replacement Li-Ion battery kit via USB-C as you game; Microsoft say it will take about four hours to fully charge.
The kit will be AUD$29.95 (NZD$39.95) and launch at the same time as the new controllers and Xbox Series X/S consoles themselves.
